Internet Speed Test
Find out exactly what you’re getting right now. Run it before and after you reboot your router to see the difference — download, upload, ping and jitter, rated for the things you actually do.
Measurement powered by Cloudflare’s global speed-test network. Results run entirely in your browser and aren’t stored.
Slow result? Reboot, then test again
The fastest way to prove your router is the problem: note your numbers now, power-cycle the router the right way, then re-run this test. If the numbers jump, you just found — and fixed — the culprit.
How to read your results
Download
How fast you pull data in — streaming, browsing, downloads. The headline number, measured in Mbps.
Upload
How fast you push data out — video calls, backups, posting. Often much lower than download on home plans.
Ping (latency)
The delay before data starts moving, in milliseconds. Lower is better — it's what makes calls and gaming feel snappy.
Jitter
How much your ping bounces around. High jitter causes stutter on calls and lag spikes in games, even at high speeds.
What counts as a good speed?
It depends on your household and what you’re doing. As rough guides: 25 Mbps covers HD streaming and browsing for one or two people; 100 Mbps comfortably handles a busy family with 4K; 300+ Mbpssuits heavy, many-device homes. What matters most is whether you’re getting close to the speed you actually pay for — enter your plan above and the test will tell you.
Doing this reboot dance over and over?
If a reboot keeps bringing your speed back, the real fix is to stop doing it by hand. Keep Connect watches your connection 24/7 and reboots the router automatically the moment it drops.
